English Country House, Master Bathroom

Traditional and timeless

A rich cocooning space was created for this bathroom, one that contrasted pleasantly with the adjoining master bedroom. The bedroom is light and spacious, enhanced by a neutral colour palette. I visually separated the two zones from each other so that the differing atmospheres could be experienced when moving from one area to the other.

Paint palette

Castle Gray by Farrow and Ball is a wonderful grey like blue that sometimes appears slightly greenish depending on the light. It has real depth and works beautifully with the brownish grey slate tiles on the floor. It contrasts with the border of shimmery multi coloured tiles running round the middle of the walls which are a focal point. All tiles are by Fired Earth.

The combination of colours that make up this shade: evoke a feeling of calm and relaxation and complement the furnishings.
