English Country House, Hallway

This hallway along with the rest of the house was designed in an English country house style which is best built around artefacts accumulated over time, creating the necessary authentic feel and traditional country look that defines it.

Paint pallet

Chosen as an extension from walking in from the green outside, the earthy Ball Green by Farrow and Ball makes a lovely connection to the garden view straight in front, and as a pleasing complement to the aged pink of Setting Plaster by Farrow and Ball in the kitchen.

It copes well in the north facing light as it’s deep enough to provide the snug feel that works best in spaces where little sunshine reaches, as well as directions that receive more light than the north throughout the day.

The combination of colours that make up this shade: evoke a feeling of peaceful calm and balance.
