Colour Pop Garden Room

I love creating garden rooms and have had the pleasure of being involved in three now. My favourite aspect of them is establishing a visual link between the interior and nature, blurring the line between the interior and exterior. We humans have a natural affinity with nature, and what better way to unwind and relax than in a peaceful, botanical space such as this.

The wallpaper is ‘Bird of Paradise’ from the Sanderson archive, and was chosen as a play on the Chinoiserie decorating style popular in the Edwardian era. It allows the eye to follow through to the garden outside, and links to the colours of the adjacent dining and living rooms seen through a small circular window in the back wall.
